Our Mission

- A 501c non-profit Corporation that strives to Educate and Inspire those affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS)Women Standing In The Gap is a not for Profit Corporation founded in 2003, to Educate, Encourage, Motivate, Inspire, and Uplift people affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and other chronic illnesses.  This includes the person diagnosed with MS, their family, friends, and the community.

We are standing in the gap to ease the transition of the initial diagnoses to helping people cope and deal with their day-to-day health challenges.

In the past, we have had Educational and Inspirational Seminars, Support Group Meetings, MS Walks, Computer Training Classes, Play Readings, Social Events, a Cable Access Television Show etc.

We have produced our My Story Monologues Show, which made its debut in March 2014, during MS Awareness month.  My Story Monologues is a production written by Sharon M. Elliott that tells stories of Faith, Hope, Courage, Determination, and Love, through monologues of people affected by Multiple Sclerosis.  It will inspire one to never give up no matter what obstacles they may be faced with, and show how to turn tests into testimonies.  Furthermore, the show addresses the Emotional, Physical, Spiritual, and Mental aspects that people may endure as they are faced with many of life’s challenges.  The stories also explore the Power of the Tongue, and People’s Actions.

We are currently providing Sneak Preview Performances upon request.
